星星之火，可以燎原。喺過去嘅週末，超過610,000位選民參與民主派初選，再一次見證香港人意志堅定，決不輕言放棄嘅精神。儘管政權用盡一切辦法抹煞香港人嘅聲音，我哋仍然堅持抗爭，堅持同路人無分黨派， 堅持向「35＋」嘅目標前進。
初選完成， 塵埃落定，我亦決定迎接新嘅使命，希望聯絡同支持一眾批發及零售界商户。若要民主派爭取過半議席，必須連結各個界別。早喺4月嘅時候，我已呼籲批發及零售界嘅公司同商户登記成為呢個功能組別嘅選民。由於我自己有經營生意，深明業界連繫協作嘅重要性。未來呢段時間，我期望了解商戶嘅經營困境，協助中小企渡過難關，繼而連結各個界別，同大家一齊共渡時艱。
千里之行，始於足下。我，張秀賢，正積極考慮參選立法會批發及零售界組別，進攻「一席都不能少」嘅功能組別。我一直深信，目標越遙不可及，我哋越要放膽踏出第一步，開闢新嘅道路。喺呢度，我懇請批發及零售界嘅 同路人一齊並肩前行，踏出最艱難嘅第一步。如果你相信我，支持我嘅理念，請聯絡我，畀我知道呢一步將會有人同行。

[Gathering Support from Wholesale and Retail]
A single spark can start a prairie fire. Although the regime has been silencing Hongkongers’ voices and attempting to sabotage the pan-democrat primaries, we have never surrendered. In fact, it has fueled our determination to fight on. This past weekend, over 610,000 Hongkongers voted in the primaries, indicating once again our will power and unity in reaching the “35+” goal regardless of partisanship and where we stand on the political spectrum.
With the results of the primaries released, I have taken up a new mission – to gather contacts and support from stakeholders in wholesale and retail. For pan-dems to win more than half of the seats in the LegCo, different sectors must come together. As early as April, I urged wholesale and retail businesses to register as voters in the functional constituency. Since I run a business myself, I genuinely understand the importance of collaboration in the business world Through recognising the specific problems businesses are facing, I plan to support SMEs in difficult times and and line up different sectors to establish a tighter and more connected network.
A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. I, Tommy Cheung, am earnestly considering running for the wholesale and retail functional constituency in the LegCo, achieving the goal of “not one less” in the functional constituency. I sincerely believe that there is no mission impossible if we are brave enough to take the first step. Here, I humbly invite everyone in wholesale and retail to take this step with me.
